Day 10, fun at the pool!

I am in love with today's pictures.

We went to a friend's house and played in her baby pool. Zane splashed and giggled with his buddies, and I got some adorable pictures.

Day 9 - joining in on the fun.

On the bright side of my plethora of camera woes, Zane has a variety of broken cameras to chew on play with.

Day 8 - nom nom nom!

As Zane is 10 months old, I recently started to give him finger foods for dinner. Egg noodles with carrots and cheese is a big hit at my house, so I decided this week to bump it up a notch and see if he likes chicken. So on Thursday I baked a chicken breast, 1/2 sweet potato and an apple together and chopped it up into Zane sized pieces.

He's still getting used to it, and I can't blame him - I imagine it's hard to eat chicken with 4 teeth!

But he sure is cute when he tries.

Day 7... I lost one!

I didn't post yesterday!! I didn't even take a picture. So lame. But, I'm back!

Nap time is my only time to cuddle with my monkey. Usually when I try, he wants to get down and explore! But I love rocking him to sleep for his naps. He gets very snuggly.

"why are you snapping that camera, mom?? I'm just trying to get to sleep over here."

"Soooo close......"

I might try and edit these tomorrow if I get a chance. Sorry for the poor quality - I was trying to be sneaky as he fell asleep.

Day 5 - playtime!

Zane is 10 months, 1 week!

I wanted to get a few shots of playtime today... luckily the dog was in a friendly mood and wanted to play with Zane, with their favorite toy.... a plastic water bottle.

Why do I buy toys again?

He was giggling the entire time. :)

Seriously, I love how they are surrounded by toys, but are entertained with an old plastic water bottle. Tache (the dog) will chew on those for HOURS unless we take it away.

Zane is 10 months, 1 week!

He loves the outdoors.

Maybe a little too much....

He is literally clawing at the door here! He just loves watching the trees and the action outdoors. If there's a window, he's looking out into the world. I had just gone out to cool down the car and left the door open while I got his bag ready. He just crawled over and started yearning to be free!

Zane is 10 months, 6 days old.

He was not excited that I put him his pack-n-play while I made him lunch.

But darnit all if that smile didn't come out as soon as he saw the camera.

I have the ultimate hambone for a son.

Day 2 :)

Zane is 10 months, 5 days old.

As I listen to Zane put himself to sleep, I present these pictures of how I find Zane everytime I go in to get him when he's woken up, either from naps or in the morning.

"Hi Mommy!" It never fails; when I go in there to get him up, he is always standing at the side of his crib. Usually playing with anything he can reach on his changing table/dresser. We did not anticipate Zane's general monkeyness and penchant for getting himself into trouble when we set up his nursery!

Day 1!

Zane is 10 months, 4 days old. :)

Daddy forgot a crucial step in bathing him last night - combing his hair! He rocked a mohawk all day.

I'm going to have to find time to edit these pics and make them pretty before I post them - a lot of the girls doing the 365 project have super awesome cameras and much better composition than I do!
